When does Mealime shut down?

Mealime says it will be discontinued as of October 21, 2026. Save anything you want to keep before then, and ideally this week.

Can I export my Mealime recipes?

Not in bulk. Mealime hasn't announced an export feature. You can copy each recipe's share link, print recipes and your grocery list from the web app, or save them as PDFs from the print dialog. Mealime's recipes will remain available in Meals Hub, but your favorites, plans, lists and settings won't transfer, and personal data is deleted at shutdown.

What's the best free Mealime alternative for families?

It depends on what you used Mealime for. If you shop at an Albertsons Companies store and want the same recipes, Meals Hub is the official, free path. If what you need is a weekly family dinner plan with one combined grocery list, MealPrept AI is free to use. Either way, save your keepers first.
